On Saturday October 16, 2010 the Glue Crew model club held their annual model contest and swap meet at the Howard Johnson Inn in Wausau. Members of the Glue Crew were in attendance to help enroll, manage, offer advice, judge, and have a good time participating in the contest. Contestants both young and old participated in this annual event and brought a tremendous amount of beautiful models to the show.
many of our younger modelers participated in the "Make and Take" program. This is a program to invite young modelers to come to the show, pick out a model, make it at the show, and then take it home with them. Overseeing our youngsters this year was Clyde Jones who truley enjoys bringing the hobby to the young.
If you're in the Wausau area the third weekend in October, stop by the Howard Johnson Inn and check out some of the most beautiful and amazing models in the North Central Wisconsin area. I know you'll have a good time!
